This was my latest PC setup just in time for Halloween and autumn even though temperatures are still summerlike here in Texas hence the reason for the delay lol. I don’t really have the software to edit the video to my preferences, but since the color story isn’t perfect, you guys can live without a video, right?
If you remember my previous autumn setups, I did one for Jiang Cheng and one for Xinyan because I happen to have a lot of merch for them and their birthdays are in October and they’re quite scary characters on their own, but now I don’t have enough of anything for any other character that was autumnal or spooky. Then I was like, why do I need to strain my poor smooth brain, why not just make a generic spooky setup and display whatever? And I remembered I had these beautiful mini prints from Koyamori based on poisonous flowers and thought, toxicity, perfect, love that shit, poison was my specialty in school after all.
Four of the poisonous plant mini prints are on the wall, I also set up a large print from cypritree of the Shimada brothers Hanzo and Genji from Overwatch, next to an official acrylic display of the brothers Millions Knives and Vash the Stampede, competing for the worst brothers in the universe. Also have a print of Aki from Chainsaw Man (a nice guy, but spoilered by the demons) by prawnm33, plus the 4 demon calamities from Heaven Official’s Blessing by inkjunkart on Etsy (the Qi Rong charm from same shop is hanging on the phone stand.) I have a print of Giyuu and Shinobu from Demon Slayer (as Shinobu is a master of poisons) by moehitsu, and a signed autograph print of Qi Rong by his English voice actor. On the shelf is a print of Medicine Seller from Rinne Kanzaki (I think?_, and my new Starscream sticker sheet by plushishop (a fanart of Starscream is also my desktop wallpaper). On the monitor stand are some old keychains of some scary toxic old dudes (Reaper/Soldier 76 from Overwatch, Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy 7, one by prawnm33), official button of Jinshi from Apothecary Diaries, a fan enamel pin of Qi Rong by butchinelle (matching print to the side), cool Gengar button from Japan, plus some official statues of Obanai from Demon Slayer, because of his snake who is venomous, get it? I also included Gojo and Nobara from Jujutsu Kaisen, small figures I got for Christmas, they themselves aren’t toxic but Gege the mangaka sure is. Got Apothecary Diaries charm by ofskysociety and Jinshi/Mao stickers by nandemocreative, and I put down more random stickers (Dmitri/Edelgard from Fire Emblem fanzine, the character development is immaculate (smut lol) from a local artist, gacha (toxic to your bank account lol by mallius), a snake amongst flowers by kiriska), an official trading card from Twsted (which I believe are all about twinkified Disney villains), an acrylic stand of Alucard and his family by kakimari and the Netflix series Alucard nendo doll that I finally unboxed. Two more fan prints by cwilock for Maomao from Apothecary Diaries and Obanai, another Qi Rong sticker by natasjavangestel on Etsy. Another Gengar figure from a blindbox, and a cute postcard from a demon fanzine. Can’t forget my other medicine seller who also has a white snake, Baizhu from Genshin Impact: official badge button, and fanmade sticker by nandemocreative again and wooden charm by sea_rift.
Florals and lighting are the same as the last 2 years, I didn’t buy anything new except the black roses although I did add in the fake moon light. I did buy new candles, so I displayed a Jujutsu Kaisen Megumi candle (from simple and clean candles). And there is that Gengar coaster that I won from a raffle last weekend lol.
Last but not certainly not least, I put up the boxed figure of Delita from Final Fantasy Tactics, who is the definition of turning toxic and deserves a special place in my display.
That is so much stuff, and none of it really matches – there was a strong showing of blue and purple and green, but in the end contrasted badly with the red and yellow foliage and hot pink accessories lol. I really love having all of my favorites displayed at once so I can look at them everyday, so I’ll deal with the clashing colors for now.
I hope you like this latest update as much as I liked setting it up, and stay tuned for… different posts coming soon, I’m sure.
