Happy Halloween! I’d been in a vampires and Castlevania mood, so I also put together a Japanese fashion gothic/aristocratic coord from stuff I already had, not making anything new, like I was Wisdom K or something lol. I was particularly inspired by Ayami Kojima’s artwork of Dracula for Castlevania Symphony of the Night, see the previous artist trading card. However, I wanted to add a younger flair since I don’t have white hair (yet), so I pulled from one of the Dracula movies, I think the one with Keanu Reaves, for his London outfit when he had black hair.
I was wearing pajama pants for comfort since I wore this at home to pass out candy (minus the glasses and wig and hat). The main thing I would change if I could is the hat, get a proper top hat instead of a bowler hat, but at least the bowler hat was sort of old-timey and it was not worth getting a new top hat from Spirit Halloween or whatever. I also thought I had a fake mustache/goatee already, but it was a big handlebar mustache only and I was too lazy to make the correct facial hair or draw it on myself. And finally, if I really wanted to be accurate to the artwork and not just do a movie look, I would need red cuffs and a cape, but I don’t know where the vampire cape went, and didn’t have anything already on hand for the cuffs which would be a pain to attach to the flared sleeves anyway.
Even without the facial hair and cape, I still love this coord made from my closet. I guess I technically bought the red glasses specifically for vampire outfits, but everything else was bought on a whim and I’m glad it worked out perfectly!
