[art] June 2026 bullet journal monthly layout

This month’s bullet journal monthly layout for June is actually mostly original artwork! I initially wanted to do mermaids, but since I just drew a mermaid for Mer-May and didn’t want to stock the watercolor paper into my journal and I also only had one mermaid sticker in my collection, I decided to go with a generic ocean theme. I still didn’t have that many stickers, but I came across this freebie sticker sheet of an original character enjoying the ocean/aquarium and thought it was perfect for summer!

On the left side I used some sky washi tapes (the top/bottom and very center) from uhh various artists mentioned before. The celestial cup stamp sticker is by shattered.earth and the cloud and glitter doodle stickers are by Yunorium (also the lo-fi vibes which is the name of the sticker sheet with the clouds). The pain pills and just okay badge stickers are by maobabie. The night photo sticker and other 2 washi tapes and the aurora hearts stickers are from Daiso. The silver foil clouds are from a Korean stationary store, and the Kyogre Pokemon sticker is by ChickeeTai.

On the right side, I used some truly vintage stationary from Korea for the top and bottom colors, as well as the printed caption for further decoration, and used all but two stickers of a pink-haired character drawn by watermelan (not sure their social media) in the ocean and aquarium. I also cut out the silver foil bubbles from the sheet and used the “coral ocean” title to decorate. The dragonair Pokemon sticker is by cressacore_.  The rest of the decorations are from Daiso or noted on the previous page, and for the center I drew a mermaid and colored with Tombow brush pens and pencils (I clearly did not have the matching colors lol).

While the previous May layout also had a lot of blue, it was a more vibrant turquoise/aquamarine color with gold accents, while this layout has soothing shades of dark and sky blue with pops of silver and pink. Next month I will try to use a different color scheme than pink and blue though, trust me! Anyway, I was really proud I could make this random OC sticker sheet work in a bullet journal collage, and I am also super happy I was able to work in extremely ancient stationary from my high school days. The absolutely perfect captions are covered up a bit, but they read: “beautiful someday”  “awake from a daze” “it will get quiet around here” “coral ocean – enjoy the summer” and “she fell asleep while reading a book.”

Stay tuned for next month’s (not blue) layout!
