[decor] Spring 2026 PC setup – shoujo manga and Sailor Mars

Here is the Spring PC setup with a theme of shoujo manga and especially Sailor Mars from Sailor Moon. I made it a little after March (the spring equinox) because I wasn’t sure I had enough decor, but I think I’m satisfied with this. One of my bullet journal layouts was Sailor Mars in the spring 2 years ago, so it was natural I did a PC set up for Rei Hino (Sailor Mars), too!

Most of my Sailor Moon merch is old stuff, including a Sailor Moon print poster made by my friend thelonebamf and 2 paintings and one Sailor Moon (and co) print from friend anakin (justasillynerd on Tumblr). I also have a sketch commission of Sailor Mars from another friend at Project A-kon years ago. I pulled out some ancient Sailor Moon merch, like a foil trading sticker of Mars from the English dub and Sailor Stars S pencils. My best friends also gave me a Magic Knights Rayearth doujinshi letter set and Sailor Mars trading card from a Chinese release box set, plus a small Sailor Mars figurine and a Card Captor Sakura postcard. I added a Sailor Mars acrylic keychain from an ice cream pop up event at Aqua S, and two magnets from the Sailor Moon x Sanrio collab I bought from my local anime store. Also I have a Mami nendo and a Madoka chess piece set, both purchased in Japan when I visited, plus a volume of Wish by CLAMP and some random My Melody brochure and a My Melody shaker standee.

My newest tech purchase is a pink bluetooth CD player with clear lid so you can see the CD artwork when it’s not playing (not visible in this angle). I put in a Tommy February CD, since she performs anime openings including at least one shoujo series I know of, but I don’t know if it’s on this particular album lol. Notice I haven’t brought out my video game handheld consoles in a while, I keep forgetting since I don’t play on them anymore.

As for other fanart, the main poster is this awesome inner Sailor Scouts as sukeban (high school girl gang members) from uhh… sorry, I forgot, it’s that old and I bought it in person at a local convention over 10 years ago. The Blackstones Nana poster is from Quisteen. The Sailor Mars keychain and Ouran High School Host club heart badge are from Susan (bontmercy on Twitter). One Sailor Moon sticker is from Huitlise, the other is from Pastel Polaris. The Madoka witch egg stickers are from Starry Crowns on Etsy. The glittery Card Captor Sakura sticker is from Shimmering Willow. The Huntrix sticker (they count even though it’s an American production) is from Kentaropjj. The Nana zipper pouch I recently got from shopmunequita. The Sailor Mars bottle keychain is from Frosty Shark, and the Sailor Mars doll sticker sheet is from Kuru731. The Nana print is from Milkteart and the retro magical girls sticker sheet is from RibbonEels on bluesky, while the tiny somewhat retro magical girls stickers (not visible) is from Dmochii. The Sailor Moon tamagotchi sticker is by Toaster Kiwi. The shoujo series trading cards (Venus, Mercury and Tomoyo) are from Choqowitch, Nemesis Kyo and Desutroyer respectively. I do have a sticker of Kyubey from Madoka from Cattomode from instagram (not visible). And finally the large Sailor Moon/Usagi print is from Cookie Keko. The red Chinese knot charm is not related but I couldn’t find the roses that went on the frame, is from daifei.

The florals are the same, but this time I added more fake strawberries, an orange tulip, and green maple leaves and ferns and some baby’s breath. I don’t really change the spring flowers or lighting much from year to year because the pink cherry and plum blossoms are the most matching.

I included a Marroncream teacup and saucer from the Sanrio store to match Makoto (Sailor Jupiter) who is sitting with Marron Cream in her Sanrio collab.

Also there is a Steve Buscemi Starscream figure hanging out with Mami and Venus. He’s there for moral support, or whatever the opposite of moral support is depending. He’s not a bishoujo. Although… there is a bishoujo figure of him, so actually, yes he does count as a beautiful girl, and even a magical beautiful girl, too, because he transforms!

All in all, this is another successful PC setup that is full of sparkles and magic and pink, I really love how things came together and I’m glad for my friends sharing their shoujo love with me! What is your favorite shoujo series, magical or otherwise?
