A little late, but better late than never, here are all of the small business purchases from October to December of 2025! All usernames are linked to the seller’s instagram if I can find it. Otherwise their shops will be listed next to their handle.
Sticker purchase from an art market at the local boba/chicken shop, I believe from the Frieren cupsleeve event. I’ve purchased from Pixemancer before but had to get a boba sticker haha.
Twice fanmade hotel keychain plus freebie Halloween stickers from the kpop pop up in October!
Four more amazing soaps from Nosy Dog soaps, plus free pink doggie sticker. Another repeat purchase.
Stuff I got at the Japanese autumn festival, Otsukimi,which I hadn’t been to in over a decade. I wore my wa-lolita outfit but it was sooo hot and humid. I enjoyed the culture demos and did a little shopping. The sakura blossom chopstick rest is from Toffpeach Studios. The crane bookmark and temari ball was from a Japanese seller Miyabi arts. The silk flower hairpins are from Bright Wish Studios but their Etsy is no longer up. The lotion and lipbalm are from Kireiimie. The cookie is from the Pastry Plug (not sure of a website).
Purchases from the Halloween Animeuwu market this year! I bought a calender for the new year from Dmochii. I also got Mitsuri Demon Slayer inspired earrings from Luna‘s. The hexing cat sticker is from Squint Print Studios. And the Oxenfree charm is from Angry Panda Gin. The retro videogames sticker sheet is from Cottoncandy Art.
The day after Halloween, I finished up a Jojo Bizarre Adventure stamp rally and got some cute Jojos from the artists there for my uhh growing trading card collection. Cat sticker and Gorou charm is from Wobble Paw Prints. Cute Jojos x 3 and Chainsaw Man sticker from… I already don’t remember, sorry, if you are here, let me know. The tonberry sticker and JJ part 5 print is from Junction. The Sailor Moon sticker and Kpop Demon Hunter card and bracelet(?) is from Huitlise. The large print is from JordanDuellart?. The Marcille charm and sticker lucky pack is from Paroxie.
There was also the cat themed art market at the mall that weekend. I got this handbound mini sketchbook from Queso’s Quest. And these tiny dessert stickers from Hatamonu.
I have no idea why this was separate… Oh, it was a matcha themed cafe, so I got various deco stickers for my journaling and toploader decorations from Evaienna.
Then we have the second DFW Transformers Cupsleeve, the Lost Light Diner in November. I bought something from almost every artist there and the invited voice actor because I was there both days and I was in a no-buy from corpos for the next 2 months. Obviously I bought an autograph from Jon Bailey, voice of Soundwave in the Transformers One movie. Then a bunch more stuff from the organizer Plushisheep including elite trine chibi plushies and sticker and Starscream carabiner and ribbon badge. Below their stuff is all of the freebies and stamp rally prizes from various artists including coasters and to the right is a bunch more freebies from fellow attendees like candy bead bracelets and even more stickers. In the middle is various Transformers Prime chibi stickers from Vsilverz. Next is Elite Trine print and Shockwhale sticker from Veaskiarts. Then Bee and Starscream zines from Elefluff. The chicken strips sticker and Starscream charm and sticker are from Sourwaveshop. The Starscream pin and Soundwave large sticker are from Nim’s Art. The D, Shockbun and Starscream sticker is from Royal Glitchy. The Silent Hill sticker is from Heavenly Blue. The Starscream, Soundwave and rats print and button are from Nemesis Kyo. And the star Starscream button and keychain is from Pikel Art. The Bumblebee print and earrings are from BB21. Hope I got everyone, that was a lot!
Finally at the last art market of the year in December at the mall, I went to check if there is anything I could get for holiday gifting. First up is the mini Dragonair print and Himmel and Scum villain trading cards from EspieWespie. Then the Moodeng sticker and Maomao board from Bearibop. The Pokemon print and sticker are from Byminchoco. The Kpopdemon hunters tiger and Asian themed stickers and enamel fish pin are from CreateInfinityMidnight. The Pokemon sticker and trading card are from Wasabi Darling. The Parappa sticker and Kirby print are from A little Serotonin.
So far I only missed one artist this quarter! Unfortunately some pop up markets don’t list their artists or post maps because they’re so small or they don’t wanna be annoying, but I think the organizers should be doing a lot more to advertise their artists individually in this terrible American economy with all of the tariffs and boycotts and AI/plagiarism or other slop flooding the markets. At the minimum, link to their usernames and shops on the main organization post if they don’t want to be annoying by posting often.
As mentioned previously, I don’t need most of this stuff, but I’m doing my part to encourage artists by buying their works and talking to some of them if I feel like it, because I know what it’s like to be an artist myself. By passing on that good karma, these artists can have the positive energy to… pass on good karma to someone else? As artists they are not changing the world in the major ways it needs to be changed (unless they are indeed a politician and an artist at the same time (doubtful)), but artists are creating in the hopes there is a future worth living for that is still full of art and creativity and whimsy.
I don’t think there will be a future by the way. I think we’re all doomed, starting with America the worst first.
