[fashion] International Lolita Day Summer – leopard!

Happy International Lolita Day (yesterday!) I did take these photos on the first Saturday of June but was too lazy to post until Sunday. While this coord isn’t especially summer specific, the fabric is very smooth and lightweight polyester satin and I just love tacky leopard print for all seasons.

[jumperskirt, hairbow, earrings: Metamorphose; socks: the Black Ribbon; shoes: Innocent World; blouse: Liz Lisa; necklace and ring: Tiny Passerine; ribbon hairclips: handmade]

This is just a simple coord with black accessories to match the black satin ribbon accents, funnily enough the socks are from the independent American brand the Black Ribbon, haha. But the outfit is classy and relatively comfortable, I would rewear to a convention for sure. If I had to make improvements, I would probably not wear the extra black hair ribbons because they’re a little messy unless I’m wearing a messy wig, and of course, would need to repair my shoes which are very old, the first brand shoes I bought, or wear different comfortable shoes. I don’t see a lot of lolitas wearing this specific dress, so I decided to experiment and wear the hairbow in front instead of the back or side like it normally would be styled, standing it up on my head so the points look like cat ears. Then I turned my head away in almost all of my photos so you can’t see the effect lol, but here is an example of what I mean below.

Is this a feasible style option? Probably not for walking around, but at least I tried it out!
