Coming at you with day 3 of the Fire Emblemathon. Once again, played one after the other over the course of 24 hours, not all 3 at the same time.
Blazing Blade: uhh… still prologue, still holding my hand via simple battle tutorial, but we’re getting an appearance from the villains and more exposition about Lyn. I did much better at the battle this time.
Awakening: with the knowledge from the tutorial of the first game fresh on my mind, the next battle (after some cutscene) was easy. There is an appearance from “Marth” and 2 new units arrive, plus explanation on archers and more advanced game mechanics.
Three Houses: still did not get to a new battle, though it’s coming soon. I chose to be teacher of Blue Lions and spent like an hour running around the monastery talking to everyone and fulfilling quests to open new mechanics. I haven’t decided yet if I’m trying to get on everyone’s good side, or just be randomly silly and make the characters angry. Am I going to marry someone in particular, or marry other characters to each other? That’s in this game right, or was it the previous games? All I know about 3 Houses is from fanart/fanfic lol.
You can do both in three houses. There’s a particular caveat to how it’s done in 3 houses tho, but I dunno how blind you wanna go into it.
