First of all, 2021 was also a rough year due to the pandemic. Even after I was vaccinated and somehow avoiding infection and contact with society, there was and is still a hostile and depressing atmosphere in the world, not just the country I am living in. I put off my RPGmaker plans and instead made some dress-up doll prototype programs for my own edification, both through renpy and through picrew.

I managed to draw at least 1 or 2 drawings for most months of 2021 except for like, September, and those have been posted to my art twitter and blogs. I learned new crafts and hobbies such as historical costuming, doll modding, resin, gardening, music composition, as well as worked on my primary hobbies, jewelry-making and j-fashion sewing, you can see a brief overview of such on my art insta. While that seems like a lot of new hobbies, I didn’t progress very far into any of them. But an attempt was made and that is what’s important!
I have been putting off migrating my other blogs into this domain because I didn’t want to mess with the content by uploading a bunch of random posts about random subjects from over 10 years ago, with my uneducated self talking like they were so smart, how embarrassing. I also don’t know how long I will keep this domain, or if the decentralized internet will still be a thing in 5 or 10 years, or if the world will still exist as it does now. But I guess I can just shutter the blogs into a corner of the site and you can view the old content whenever you please. I just don’t want to keep logging into social media (even after deleting facebook) and getting nothing from it, if I have to get nothing from it, I would rather it be on my site.
Lastly, which I’ve already mentioned last year, since I am not sure how to make woocommerce shopping work on a wordpress domain, I’ve moved my shop to ko-fi.com/insomniel for black market anime and game merch. I still have my Etsy for international shipping and less grey market merch.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing as well as they can. Stay tuned for my end of the year review for both art and other crafts hopefully before 2022 starts, lol.
