Here we go again, everything I bought from small businesses or independent artists from July through September, about 4 weeks late lol. I’ve been busy. I added as many instagram or Etsy links as my dementia-addled brain could recall for your convenience. As the economy worsens because our evil and corrupt government, please try your best to support these artists. And if you’re my friend, your gift may be in the images below, so don’t look too closely lol.
First up is the Gyaru Deco Dolls market which took place in a house in a residential area. They had a matcha seller and tattoo artist and a little deco area to deco hair clips and photo card holders along with artists and “vintage” clothing sellers. Everything was fashion and y2k and gyaru themed, I passed out my gyaru zine at this market as a freebie to support gyarus. I have stickers from Lamiskoco and Cherrywerm and LovelyFresas, and retro cute keychains from Trinkcore. The earrings are from Mystical Drip and the photocard holder is from ribbunz. The long white skirt I got from a vintage clothing seller, forgot who though sorry.
Next is an Etsy order from Starry Reni (instagram here). Just wanted to grab all of the bishoujo Transformer girlies as trading cards, and of course a zine and stickersheet.
All 3 months of a monthly Patreon subscription of Cozy Cybertron for this quarter from Soul.e Art (their bluesky), which includes a letter fic, a tarot card, a small print and 3 coordinating stickers, of various Transformers. I just love the tarot card, gorgeous.
Then I went to a random Apothecary Diaries event at a claw machine shop. It was very small but so cute, with a photo backdrop, a trivia scavenger hunt, a crafting table, and artist alley. I got a mooncake pastry from Kitsune’s Kitchen. Then a science stickersheet from kacokos, trading cards from Scheme, and pokemon stickers from strawb3rry_tea.
I clearly didn’t remember which market this is, but it was Chocoberry Swirl in the mall. I bought a rement set and stickers from Lucky Bunny, the host of Sprinkle Trinkle but not Chocoberry Swirl. The y2k sticker sheet is by ink.iio. The viet pets and mitochondria sticker are from 2tinys. I bought a stretchy bracelet and ring from Poggy Woggy. The Ai Yazawa sticker from Por delante. More earrings from Sol Y Luna, and the Frieren print from Lazy Artist.
Just an update on Bounty Light, that I backed on Kickstarter for volume 2 even though I haven’t even read volume 1 yet. They included a pin and sticker sheet and postcard for the gifts with the physical comic book!
Next is a collector themed shop at the mall, focusing on Pokemon. I got 2 stickers from Sugarbubbas. Also got 2 puppy sticker sheets and a related Pokemon sticker from Water Bun.
I don’t remember if I posted my previous Transformers plushies created and shipped directly from the manufacturer, but I got a huge Starscream and Skyfire set designed by Beri (beriuos.bsky.social) earlier this year. This Shockwave bunny is from Lintu, the squeaky Starscream and Soundwave purse are both from Sgrimp. These were all adorable and well made but again, they ship directly from the company in China after a preorder time, the artists usually are not capable of shipping worldwide especially large heavy plushes, so it’s always a surprise when these critters arrive.
I went to two trinket trade markets in one day! The first is Collectibun at the mall, where I got greeting and recipe cards from Softspot Riso. I got a retro Sanrio craft kit from another seller. Then I traded my own trinkets for the Spider Gwen keychain, the Iguro I just bought with cash lol. After that, I went to a plant market in a brewery that also had a tattoo artist and trading table. I bought a plant (that later died, I do not have luck with these small plants), then a vase and sticker pack from Erin Nicole. The bracelet I made for free at the jewelry table, and I also got the dog sticker for free. At the trade table, I got the four leaf clover and string of beads and Hello Kitty trinkets in return for my own trinkets.
I bought a handful of items from Mezzo Studio right before they closed shipping outside of Europe due to a variety of reasons including tariffs, confusing and expensive shipping laws for the EU. I had to get a blue retro skirt with bow belt and hairband, also the gothic “Eat the Rich” tee, plus the retro paperdoll and a postcard and stickers. I just love the heisei retro shoujo anime art style!
I bought these items at the Farmers Market craft fair in September, can’t remember the artists though. A shell star choker necklace and a painted ceramic bowl.
I labeled this choco, but it’s actually Korokoro Mart based on the market postcard lol. Also at the mall! I bought another Iguro keychain from the trade/reseller section. Then I went around and got a ton of stuff at the artist alley section, focusing on artist I haven’t bought from before or haven’t seen in a while. The One Piece print is from Eyitsbeii. The melon soda stationary set is from Ebi Pura. The decorated journal is from Aeshootingstar. The wizard weasel sticker is from Kidcitrix. The zine and sewing sticker sheet and no AI button is by Courtlyn Lee. The bunny dreams sticker sheet is by Ariebunz. The glitter gyaru stickers are by Alistar. The star necklace is from Ngoc Novelty. The crochet strawberry mat is by Gigi Doodles. And the cute stamp and sticker sheet and shopping bag is by Cattpucino.
Then I went to Fanexpo, but unfortunately this was after Peter Cullen passed away so my fellow TF fan and I just chatted in the panel rooms after I walked around and spent so much money. Since Rose Besch was there, I got an autographed sketchbook and Marvel comic book (I didn’t get any celebrity autographs because I was hot and didn’t care to wait in line.) I bought the Optimus Prime plushi and Hilda keychain and Soundwave pin from Plushisheep since I was cosplaying Hilda from Pokemon and Snivy is my fave. I got a few more stickers from Journey Bunny. My brother wanted merch from Dungeon Crawler Carl and I amazingly found multiple artists selling prints even though I didn’t read the books, I recognized it right away lol. The first artist is Sterling Dawn. The second artist is Julia Mann, I got the Last Unicorn and Apothecary Diaries to go with it. The Sailor Mars print is from Cyanaliart. I got a Jojo trading card pack and Apothecary Diaries print from theKKathy. And the Soundwave and Shockwave stickers from Onomi? I got 4 more Transformers stickers from Thinknu. And the air freshener and Twice keychain and sticker and print are from Tsundere Sharks.
A package arrived from Cherry Werm from the gyaru market at the beginning of this post. I just wanted the leopard print PC holder but the gyaru print is also cute!
Then I joined another monthly letter club, this time a lolita sticker club from Snow Priestess from France. Because it ships in a stamped small envelope, there is no tariff or customs fees, just the usual inflation of postage.
I spent at least 3 hours working on this post, so you better appreciate it! Or else…
