October’s monthly art is a tiny fanart of Dracula from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in trading card form. Because he’s a vampire, and it’s for spooky season, just watched a youtube about Vlad the Impaler from Tasting History the other day. This was a quick multimedia piece I made with ink and alcohol marker and colored pencil on watercolor paper. It was quick because… I draw vampires all the time and have Dracula’s face memorized by now lol. Not much to say about this except I need better marker colors for night sky, I was trying to combine shades of blue and brown to make a dull black but it didn’t work out well and by the time I remembered I could just use colored pencils or paint, it was too late. But overall, I like this, traditional media is always less polished than CG but has it’s own rough charm.
