This month’s bullet journal is super cute! I chose a My Melody theme since her pink hood version is very spring-like to me and I can use even more matching sakura blossom stickers to match.
I drew a slightly different monthly calendar this time, using squares instead of rectangles for each day, and I didn’t label the days of the week which give me the most trouble each time lol. There is less space to write stuff, but I’m happy with how it looks. I used the same Daiso sakura stickers as in March, now with My Melody stickers also from Daiso, along with Joann’s stickers and some butterfly sparkle stickers from a Korean cute stuff store. The top 2 My Melody fanart stickers are from Dmochii. the My Melody cookie and cupcake stickers are from Thanxsu and the “great” positive reinforcement sticker is from Katco Studio. The large My Melody sticker I got as a freebie from a fan meet. Also check out the adorable (licensed) My Melody and cherry blossom washi tape.
The collage page features fanart I drew with ink/colored pencil of a hime-kaji fashionista wearing My Melody rabbit ears as inspired by Liz Lisa fashion, one of my fav gyaru brands. I think My Melody is more of a cottagecore or himekaji girl than gyaru though (Kuromi is obviously jirai kei and goth). The angel My Melody keychain sticker I bought from Lucky Bunny artist shop but I forgot which artist, and the bottom left sticker is from, I want to say Ugly Plants, I know I got at least one My Melody sticker from them. The bottom sparkly right sticker is from lacelria. The pink sakura origami paper is also from Daiso, I used a sakura blossom hole punch to punch out paper flowers to decorate, from Daiso as well. The little cloud background stickers and the bunny sticker are washi stickers from Daiso, while the tiny My Melody stickers came with a Japanese licensed calendar to mark reminders on the days.
Simple but cute layout! It makes me smile, even the slightly wonky fanart. Coming soon is my magical girl spring PC setup, stay tuned!
