Continuing from my previous 2 posts, here are my purchases from small businesses and indie artists from July to September 2025! I was out of town twice, but I did attend a big con and also several art markets at the mall near my house, and made some online purchases from both familiar and new artists.
First up, all the stuff I got from the One Piece pop up art market at the local mall. I forgot it was going on, they had a few activities including themed drinks, deco table, a photo backdrop, and of course, trading cards to collect starring the queens of the One Piece series. The shiny panda postcard and stamp seals are from Lemon Panda (insta). The adorable Apothecary Diaries sticker sheet, Mitsuri clear lanyard and Yunjin shaker charm keychain are from Kumabrows (insta). The soju keychain, One Piece sticker and Gaming sticker are from Traannahh (insta). Finally the Fujoshi t-shirt and postcard and Frieren keychain are from boxedsoy (insta). Also love all of the One Piece trading cards I got, though I don’t remember who Black Maria is oops.
Next is a batch order of my two favorite anime series from artist Munette. We have Apothecary Diaries modern Maomao and Jinshi poster and double sided charm and photocard of Jinshi bishounen, and Frieren cast poster and keychain of Stark and Fern dancing. This took a while to arrive since it came from overseas, but everything arrived safely and looked glorious and colorful. Their insta here! https://www.instagram.com/_munette/
Then my purchases from Sprinkle Trinkle town, which is a large, multi-room artist event at my local mall with fun activities like dancing mascots! Since I was going with friends, I got a little tired and hot and overstimulated by the crowds, so I only bought stuff from two booths. The Frieren poster and cute postcard are from Thanksxu (insta), plus their cute trading card. And then a cute air freshener and My Melody sticker from Lucky Bunny, the shop that organized these events and also hosts space for other event organizers (insta here).
Next up is an etsy purchase of Transformers fanmerch. I was searching for Steve Buscemi Starscream merch one day and found an artist who made a sticker of the big three, Starscream, Shockwave and Soundwave. I got the rest of their cute Transformers One merch with Starscream and a Jazz sticker because I just like him, and a new lanyard with space animals. Also got some freebies lol. Check their shop here!
Round two of Sprinkle Trinkle town, they didn’t get all of their photocards in, so I stopped by to grab the Mayor photocard and freebie sticker, also a free mini tattoo and bought a cake pop and sticker from Dewdrop Bakeshop (insta).
These are purchases from San Japan which was a 3 day convention, so Saturday’s purchases were photographed on the hotel bed so I don’t forget, and Sunday’s purchases were photographed at home the next day. I went crazy in the artist alley because I don’t know if I’ll see these artists at my local cons and I didn’t feel like driving to the next city for those events anyway even if they were lol. Anyway, the 3 large gold foil posters (One Piece, original chara, Apothecary Diaries) are from kirseel (insta), I’d been eyeing their stuff from before. Next are two graphic design posters of Nana and Demon Slayer from Quisteen (insta), love their pop art style. Then small Genshin Impact prints of Yunjin and Neuvillette from Monovodka (insta). A Yunjin print with Scaramouche card from Huitlise (whom I’ve seen before locally, insta). Then an original chara postcard and Obanai chibi sticker from Studio Nana Banana (insta). The gorgeous Frieren and Yakuza posters and Maomao mini print are from Rubi Do Trinh (insta). The Scum Villain print and danmei perfume are from Stoic Egg and Yuzu Dew (insta). The funny cat stickers are from Garboguts (insta).
Day 2, I went back to find the Transformers stuff I skipped by yesterday lol. Bishoujo Starscream poster and chibi keychain and Princess Peach sticker are from Darwin Rose (insta). The scenery postcard, adorable Transformers stickers and mini linking Decepticon keychains are by Drawn Til Dawn (insta). The Frieren postcard and Kuromi My Melody stickers are by Toaster Kiwi (insta). And the tiger sticker and mini painted magnet are by Zoe (insta).
Of course I’m always getting stuff from ohmonah (shop link here!). I got the soft squishy bunny bathmat to replace my worn out bath mats, an Apothecary Diaries protection charm and a Frieren t-shirt that’s oversized for comfort.
I went to an Apothecary Diaries cupsleeve event in the next city over wearing my Tang dynasty outfit! It was a little crowded so I didn’t do the activities or get the drink, but I did buy a few things from the artists vending. The gold foil poster and sticker sheet are by Maylin (insta). The chibi Maomao and Jinshi stickers and Fruits Basket gacha card are by turtle prism (insta), love their retro shoujo style . The Maomao and Kyubey stickers are by Catto (insta). And the cupsleeve artwork itself is by Espie (insta).
Finally, I went to the Lantern Rite festival at the mall which I did not apply for this year. The new room was separated into voice actors on one side, and artists on the other side. It was slightly less stuffy than last year but I wore an extra layer so I was still hot lol. The bloody knife keychain is by Art Mature (insta). The Mavuika print, Apothecary Diaries print and sticker are by Cactimoe (insta/art insta) , who gave me a Heaven Official’s Blessing trading card too. The journaling/deco sticker sheets and Egg sticker are by Yunorium (insta). The MDZS print and Jinshi sticker are by Hiltomi (insta). And finally the Scum Villain keychain and badge sticker are by Toasty (insta).
Whew, I finally remembered each artist this time, this is a historic first! I hope you enjoyed that purchase review and found new artists you like. If you are my friend, you will be seeing some of these goodies in your Christmas gift package lol. Stay tuned for the final quarter, in which I will be trying to avoid buying from big companies until the end of the year in an economic blackout (other people are doing this too fyi). I will buy only necessities for life like groceries and gas and medicine, and either new stuff from independent businesses or reused/thrifted/handmade items from November through December, or at least from Thanksgiving to Christmas which is one month. I’ve done a random no-buy for a month before, so I’m sure I can do it again, especially since Target is dead to me now because that place was a money-sink for sure. But… yeah, until next time!
