[fanart] August 2023 artwork – Neuvillette

I still haven’t figured out how I want to post about my fanarts, I already add a description when I upload the artwork because that’s what WordPress makes you do for the portfolio. (Not that I really claim all of these artworks as portfolio worthy.) But should I post about the art again in the blog so that subscribers don’t miss it? I subscribe to my own homepage which updates me on my blog posts, but not on any images uploaded which makes sense. It just seems like extra work.

Anyway, here is Neuvillette from the newest region in Genshin Impact, Fontaine. I assume he is a hydro water creature. I generally draw straight off in game models or splash/wish artwork, the only changes are the slightest change in pose. Here I also added some eye bags because I love eye bags, and the under eye wrinkles are to signify he is about to cry. Angry-cry. I know that feeling all too well these days…. I made him into buttons for the Genshin con so that’s why I finished the art before the end of the month for once lol, unfortunately my printer ran out of yellow ink, so he printed out a little cyan, but that’s okay, he’s uhhh underwater yeah.
